Heli Fly was born in Malta from a partnership with the Italian Groups Eurotech and Ariane, which have been operating with the helicopters sector.
Eurotechs from 20 years is leader in Italy for maintenance in accord EASA Part 145 on more helicopters as Eurocopter, Agusta, and Robinson.
Eurotech is service station for Agusta Westalnd as for Robinson Helicopter.

For the school, Eurotech is approved as organisation ATO and keeps a capability for issue PPL, CPL, IR and Type Rating AS350, A109 and other helicopters.

Ariane is mainly used for Commercial Air Transport and Specialised Operations. the company is approved AOC with the European Regulation EU 965-2012.

All professionals engaged in passenger transport services and aerial work are highly qualified and experienced pilots and flight instructors.

Thanks to its partnership with Eurotech, Heli Fly is also proud to provide a Flight School that, as from September 2017, will begin courses for the attainment of flight licenses such as private and commercial pilot licenses, instructor training courses, instrument flight and more.

Eurotech was founded in 1995 as a helicopter service company certified JAR 145 (today known as PART 145).

In 1998, due to rapid business expansion, Eurotech relocated to Caiolo in Lombardy (province of Sondrio) in a new building constructed specifically to meet the needs of a modern helicopter maintenance company.

The base now includes a total of 2,000 square meters of offices and hangars and a helicopter landing site of over 5000 square meters with a plant for the supply of aviation gasoline and kerosene.  The company employs more than 30 professionals and technicians .

The promoters and founders of Heli Fly Malta are Elio Blasio and Groups Eurotech Ariane.

Elio Blasio

 

Elio Blasio is a trained military helicopter pilot.  He occupied the position of ‘Captain’ within the Department of Flight of the Guardia di Finanza in Rome which has its headquarters at the military airport of Pratica di Mare.  Mr Blasio has experience flying single-engine fixed wing aircrafts and gliders, in flight.

Always passionate about flying, he has logged over 1,000 hours of flight on board the Agusta Bell 47 G 2, Breda Nardi NH 500, Robinson 22 and 44, and Eurocopter AS 350.

Elio Blasio is a qualified lawyer, specializing in company law and international tax and operates from Malta and Geneva.
